About the AI Act
The AI Act establishes essential guidelines for AI developers and users and ensures that AI systems are safe, ethical and respect fundamental rights. This legislation aims to reduce the risks of AI while promoting innovation.
Future steps
The AI Act will fully apply in the fall of 2024, but some rules will take effect earlier. The AI Pact encourages early adoption of these rules to allow for a smooth transition.
About the speaker
