About this event
Slush is the most ambitious and well-known startup and technology festival in Europe. All tech companies should attend Slush at least once in their startup or scale-up phase. And what better time to do this in 2022, where your company can showcase its smart port technology at a dedicated side-event.
The Beacon and Port of Antwerp-Bruges (PoAB) will host a side-event during this conference, at which the latter will present its digital twin to an eminent group of attendees. Registered companies can attend and showcase their smart port technology during the meet&greet section of the event.

The event will be open to all interested participants of the Slush conference. The event is free, but registration is mandatory.
For this event, we will actively recruit participants from two main target groups:
- Nordic maritime and port companies or authorities
- Nordic investors, VCs and Business Angels with experience in deep tech and IoT
EXHIBITORS
We invite up to ten smart port technology companies to participate at this event. These companies will have the opportunity to set up a small booth (roll-up banner + table), to demonstrate their technology solution during the Meet&Greet part.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
We'll reserve the right to assess and select the applications by the companies. In this process, we'll particular pay attention to the fit of your company's solution with the topic of the session: smart ports technology and digital twins. We'll also give priority to startups and scale-ups.
The Beacon Community Members can participate for free. A fee of 250 EUR will be charged to non-members.
Interested companies can register on this website. The Beacon Team will then get in touch with these companies to discuss potential participation. Participation is only definitive when this has been confirmed in writing or e-mail by The Beacon.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR FLEMISH STARTUPS
Companies registered in Flanders that have not received subsidies for foreign activities yet, can benefit from FIT's Starter's Package. This subsidy covers up to 7.000 EUR of expenses related to international activities, subject to certain requirements. SLUSH CONFERENCE
Registration only guarantees exhibitor access to this side event. This constitutes in no way an access to the Slush conference. Companies will need to purchase a ticket to the Slush conference separately. Companies are responsible for their own transport, accomodation and related expenses.
