About this event
Lantis is one of the six founding partners of The Beacon, has its office in The Beacon Building and manages one of the largest public infrastructure works in Europe: the Oosterweelverbinding. More than a mere tunnel, the Big Link is a huge infrastructure, mobility, environmental ánd societal project that impacts Antwerp and all its citizens.
Sustainability is at the core of what Lantis does. It also means that the result of project should be future-proof. And that's why Lantis has supported the establishment of The Beacon: to learn how to use technology to strengthen and improve their construction and mobility project, and to make it sustainable in the long run.
As a first step, Lantis has launched an innovation challenge, that we'll feed to you, tech experts, in a lively and moderated cocreation session!

10.00 - 10.10: Welcome & introduction
10.15 - 10.45: Presentation by Lantis on four core challenges to build the Tunnel to the Future in 10 years:
- How can we anticipate, react and communicate in crisis situations in a tunnel?
- How can we collect toll fees in an effective and seamless way?
- How can we monitor and manage traffic in an optimal way?
- How can we consistently collect feedback from all stakeholders using our infrastructure?
10.45 - 12.00: Co-Creation session in small groups, moderated by Nova Reperta

This is a physical meeting that will be held at the premises of The Beacon. Participation is free upon registration. The meeting will be held in English, unless this is not necessary given the audience.
