Can you distil with the heat of the sun?
Ten years ago, that question launched an obsession. The answer turned out to be yes — but the technology to do it didn't exist yet. So we built it ourselves. Welcome to The Solar Distillery, Antwerp's sun-powered distillery, where every drop is crafted using nothing but solar heat.
Introducing HALO — a culinary innovation
Fast forward to today. With alcohol awareness on the rise, we created HALO: a low-alcohol spirit that tastes exactly like its full-strength counterpart. This isn't a compromise — it's a breakthrough. HALO has already found its way to Michelin-starred kitchens and the hands of top sommeliers. The secret? It only exists because of the way we distil.
What to expect at this tasting
This evening is part story, part science, part celebration. We'll walk you through how a bold sustainable concept evolved into a one-of-a-kind distillation method — and why that method unlocks flavours no conventional distillery can replicate.
Then comes the best part: you taste everything. All 10 of our products, low-alcohol and full-strength alike, each distilled under the Antwerp sun. Gin & tonics, cocktails, unique liqueurs — and you get to make them yourself.

Take note of the fact that The Beacon is located in the LEZ zone and that the rules regarding public parking have been made stricter.

- No-Show Fee: If you register but don't attend without canceling in advance, a 50 EUR fee will apply to cover planning and reservation costs. Please inform us if you can't attend to avoid this fee.
- Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 48h in advance and through your Eventbrite ticket, not via email.
- Photography and Recording: Photos, audio, and video may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to this use. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify the staff at the registration desk.
